Women In Tech

The goal of the Women in Technology (WIT) project is to strengthen the education to workforce pipeline, combining STEM service learning with cultural awareness. Recently, WIT (an initiative of the Maui Economic Development Board) has grown so broad and deep in program development, it required a new website to present its growing focus and impressive outcomes throughout the state. The site has become a comprehensive information resource, news hub and resource center for students, educators and stakeholders interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in Hawaii.

Next Project: Munekiyo Hiraga

Munekiyo Hiraga

Acknowledging its core values of excellence and responsiveness, the newly redesigned website for Munekiyo Hiraga demonstrates its growth beyond just a land planning company. The redesigned site highlights the firm's expanded scope of services as a full-service planning, analysis and process management company.

Next Project: Hawaii Petroleum

Hawaii Petroleum

Hawaii Petroleum is one of the leading independent petroleum distributors of petroleum products and lubricants on the islands of Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii. Before the website, they had a very scattered presence in the neighbor islands. We developed a new logo, a strong branding system and local positioning that helped them build a loyal customer base and tie in with their sister convenience store - Minit Stop. The website was central to the branding process and its success prompted the development of Ohana Fuels in 2013, HP's private brand, community-focused spinoff.

Next Project: JUMPsmartmaui

To help solve the state's ongoing energy challenges, Japan and the United States partnered on a $30 million dollar Smart Grid demonstration project on Maui. Critical to the Phase I effort in 2013 was the development of the JumpSmartMaui website that has become the central hub for ongoing information, events and updates. The site ties together all branding a very active FaceBook page for project volunteers and a JSM/Hitachi Energy Innovation Center being developed in Kahului, Maui.

Next Project: Roz Baker

Roz Baker

Roz Baker has represented the people of Maui County in the Hawaii State Legislature for over 21 years. In 2012, we totally revamped her website to tie her persona more closely to the issues she feels passionate about. This is Senator Baker's personal, public-facing website where overall positioning within the voting community is important and especially strategic during re-election years. The site is intended to work in conjunction with her FaceBook and Senate website where bills and committee work are available for closer review.
